Through their collective network of over 140 women, the Lotus Group Project has distributed thousands of care packages of food, blankets and tarps in the aftermath of the earthquake for Sindupolchock refugees in Gorkana. Their primary focus on providing supplies for mothers, children and infant through women’s groups has ensured that many of the most vulnerable people impacted by the quake have received the basics – the first small step towards recovery.
