Day 36. We saw at least 200 patients at our Saturday medical camp today (led by Dr. Eliza Thapa). It was especially for mothers with infants and toddlers but also adults. Most adults wanted to check their blood pressure.
A million thanks Gaurav Chhetri for making it happen on such short notice! Also huge gratitude to Grassroots Movement in Nepal for giving us the medicines! Lobsang Sangbo and Urgyan Jd Sherpa Thanks to Bipasha Rai Tuladhar and Nabin Tuladhar for coming by to drop much needed little infants clothing.
Relief aid, while well intentioned, often ends up in the pockets of corrupt local bureaucrats and/or multinational contracts, with very little reaching the people that actually need it. Ensure that your contributions reach those in need.
