dhulikel hospitalNepal is facing devastating floods and landslides in several areas, leaving communities in urgent need of medical care and essential supplies.

Dhulikhel Hospital has mobilized a rescue and medical team with essential medicines and emergency supplies and established a response base at our Outreach Center in the affected area of Nuwakot.

We are preparing additional medical teams to provide timely healthcare, medicines, hygiene and sanitation materials, emergency referrals, and support for the prevention and management of potential disease outbreaks. We are working closely with government authorities, local communities, and humanitarian partners to support affected families through healthcare, rehabilitation, psychological support, and recovery.


What Your Donation Does

  • Rescue & Emergency Response - Our medical and support team has been mobilized to Bidur, Nuwakot, carrying essential emergency supplies. Our team at Thansing Outreach Center, Nuwakot, is providing ground-level coordination and support.
  • Medical Response & Referral - Based on real-time needs from affected communities. Dhulikhel Hospital is mobilizing additional medical teams, medicines, equipment and essential supplies for emergency care and referral.
  • Disease Outbreak Prevention - As communities face increased risks following flooding, our teams are supporting disease surveillance, safe water and sanitation, prevention of waterborne disease, health education and essential healthcare services.
  • Rehabilitation & Recovery - Our response will extend beyond the immediate emergency to include rehabilitation, mental health and psychological support, continuity of care, and community-based recovery services.

Why Dhulikel Hospital

We have worked alongside the Dhulikhel Hospital for years, most recently helping fund diagnostic imaging equipment for its dental teaching clinic. We know this team, we know their work, and we know that money raised here reaches the people it is meant for. We are handling this fundraiser directly with Dr. Dashrath Kafle, head of the dental school, and the leadership of Dhulikhel Hospital.
