A total of 806 patients went through a complete oral health check-up with the majority being treated with extractions, fillings, and fluoride treatments. Special health kits were also distributed to mothers with young children.
Health and Dental Society Nepal continue their good work in Talakhu Nuwakhot, Ratmate Jira and Lalitpur. With funding from WeHelpNepal Health and Development Society of Nepal, these integrated health camps include dental work, acupuncture treatments, psychotherapy for children and all-important education on how to care for your teeth.
Relief aid, while well intentioned, often ends up in the pockets of corrupt local bureaucrats and/or multinational contracts, with very little reaching the people that actually need it. Ensure that your contributions reach those in need.
