Clean Up Nepal, a local partner of We Help Nepal is holding its Annual National Clean Up day with people and communities from across the country taking action to make life more livable.
In light of the earthquake Clean Up Nepal is focusing on temporary shelter sites as key focus locations-- there are approximately 35,000 people living in tents in Bhaktapur, Kathmandu and Lalitpur in 142 sites.

Relief aid, while well intentioned, often ends up in the pockets of corrupt local bureaucrats and/or multinational contracts, with very little reaching the people that actually need it. Ensure that your contributions reach those in need.
