Partners in Sustainable Learning Builds Bamboo Shelters

Partners in Sustainable Learning have been operating early childhood services in Eastern Nepal since 2013.  They have trained 60 preschool teachers, built schools and classrooms, and provided schooling for over 500 children. After the combined effect of the two earthquakes, they estimate that over 1,000 families have lost their homes in the three VDCs of Okhaldhunga that they operate in.

#WeHelpNepal has helped them rebuild bamboo homes and schools while the families and communities they work with recover.

Relief aid, while well intentioned, often ends up in the pockets of corrupt local bureaucrats and/or multinational contracts, with very little reaching the people that actually need it. Ensure that your contributions reach those in need.
